Lettio is made by people who wanted a private, modern mailbox and couldn't find one — so we built it, on open standards, in Europe.
Lettio is built by Valmia Solutions s.r.o., an independent company based in the European Union. We're funded by the people who use the product, not by advertising or outside investors — which is exactly the arrangement we want.
Email is where your life is filed: receipts, contracts, conversations, the account-recovery link for everything else you own. It deserves a home you can trust and understand — one that keeps your data in Europe, runs on standards you're free to leave with, and doesn't quietly turn your inbox into someone's advertising inventory.
It should also be able to do more than sit there. So we built Lettio to speak the open Model Context Protocol, letting an assistant and agents work on your mail under the same privacy guarantees as the mail itself — while sending stays pinned to your own address, always. Private, European, and finally intelligent, without asking you to choose.

We keep your mailbox in Europe, never run ads against it, and never train a model on it. You pay for the service, so your mail is the thing we protect — not the thing we sell.
No walls, no lock-in.
IMAP, SMTP, JMAP, CalDAV — your own domain, and a full export whenever you want it. We'd rather earn your stay than trap it, so leaving is always as easy as arriving.

We're small, independent and funded by our customers, not by selling data or chasing an exit. That means we can move at our own pace and build email that's still here — and still yours — years from now.
